Critiques of the Movement

The Critiques of the LGBT movement have to do with the rights. People who critique the LGBT movement do not feel that they are denying someone's rights. They believe that the LGBT community are infringing on their rights. This is particularly because of religious rights. This is something that is continuing to happen to this day. There has been circumstances like this when to making wedding cakes and having the right to go to the bathroom. There was a recent Supreme Court ruling in Colorado.

There was a baker, Jack Phillips who denied to make a wedding cake for a same sex couple. Because of this he was sued and the case was brought to the supreme court. This was an important case because this is a current issue. It is still being debated on whether or not a company should have to provide a cake for a same-sex couple. Does it actually infringe on someone else's religious rights. Does it also discriminate against someone else to not provide a service that a heterosexual would receive.

There are also individuals who feel that people in the LGBTQ community should not be able to have children. They certainly should not be able to adopt children. They feel that a child will not be able to thrive with two moms or two dads.
